A few years ago, I hit a wall.
I was about a year into my CrossFit journey and training harder than ever. Lifting heavy, tracking my food, eating “clean,” doing everything the way I’d been taught as an athlete.
But something still felt… off.
I was soft. Exhausted. Foggy.
I literally would hide under my desk during my off period to take a nap almost every day.
My recovery was slow, my strength gains had stalled, and food was starting to feel like a full-time job.
And honestly? I didn’t even feel like me anymore.
I kept thinking:

I had been trained to push like an athlete…
